A Night of Music, Community, and Revival: "Build Back the Block" Tornado Relief Concert

As we reopen the doors to The Fountain on Delmar and Steve's Hot Dogs, we're reminded of the resilience and spirit of our Delmar Maker District community. In the wake of the May 16th tornado, we've come together to host "Build Back the Block," a benefit concert that will shine a spotlight on the strength and creativity of our neighborhood.

Join us on June 17 at Delmar Maker's Locale for an unforgettable evening of music, mingling, and community support. Funky Butt Brass Band, accompanied by members of The Urge, will bring the house down with their energetic performance, while DJ Bill Reiter sets the tone for a night to remember.

"We're thrilled to partner with Delmar Main Street to support our fellow businesses and artisans who've been impacted by the storm," said HuSTL Hospitality CEO Danni Eickenhorst. "This concert is a celebration of our community's spirit and a testament to the power of coming together in times of need."

Steve Ewing, co-owner of Steve's Hot Dogs and lead singer of The Urge, adds, "We're honored to bring together some of the best musicians in St. Louis for a night that will leave a lasting impact on our neighborhood. It's going to be a truly special evening."

The concert aims to raise $50,000 for impacted businesses through sponsorships and donations. While admission is free, we invite you to contribute what you can – every bit counts. You'll also have the opportunity to support Steve's Hot Dogs Feed the People program, which has provided over 10,000 meals to those in need since 2020.

As you enjoy the music and company, representatives from SLDC will be on hand to assist impacted businesses with reporting their needs. Let's come together to rebuild and revitalize our beloved Delmar Main and Delmar Maker District.
